I have been on this forum for about a month now. Alot of good info. I bought an 08 base auto NHBP Fit with 2 miles on it. The reason for going w/ a base auto is b/c at the time i had a 512 whp S2000, and i didnt plan on spending any money on the Fit. Well i did a little too much racing and dropped 2 valves and messed up the 4th piston. After dumping so much time and money into i gave up and sold it to a friend. So now this is my new project. so far i have done 5% tint, eibach sportlines, and gold drag dr26 15x7 +40 wheels on it. I love the Fit but it really is lacking power. I definitley see a K swap in the future. Anyways, thats what brings me here.

yeah it was a lot of fun. i really miss it. i went from a turbo RSX-S to a turbo S2K to the Fit. I need some kind of power. But the gas mileage isnt as good as i thought. i only get like 210 mi to a tank, it has been like that for the last 4 tanks. i have 1300 miles on it now.

 

Are you running it to near empty? It's a small tank so you won't get a lot of miles out of it, but we still get over 300 on each fill up. We've been getting 32 - 37 with our 5-speed. Try dividing the miles driven by the gallons that you put in...you should get at least 30 under any condition.

The Fit is slow, but it's still fun to drive. Your S2000 sounds like it was a lot of fun.

 

i probably dont. When i fill up i put about 8.9 gallons in. i think manual would be fun but the auto is pretty boring..lol
