Noob suspension question!!
wow I'm a nub to the car modding world...Ok pretty much the first thing I want to do is get my fit lowered with some Tanabe DF210s so what if in the future I also want to get new wheels/tires for my ride what will that do or what will I have to change so theres no rubbing etc.. If you must scold me just please understand this.. this is my first car forum I've ever joined
It depends on the Fit generation (GD or GE), tire size, wheel size and offset.
For example, if you had a GD with DF210s on the factory sport or HFP rims (both have +55mm offset) with the recommend tire size for that rim you won't rub. Now if you had a rim with lower offset like a +35mm for example you will experience rubbing in the rear, on the bumper screw, and possibly in the front if you don't tuck the fender liner.
