Things to know before buying a FIT

Hi there,

I have been doing quite a lot of reading on this site and picked up some great info. I want to know what to look out for when buying a fit (04 - 06) thats around 80 - 100 km ( ~130miles). So far I know to look for water in the boot, damp floor mats and checking the manual trans fluid. Is there any thing else that I should be looking or listening out for?

Also what up coming costs do I need to take into account? I know the clutch replacement varies depending on driver.

Thanks!

Check for rough running at normal or higher speeds may be the coilpacks. Or very low idle could be it needs the valves adjusted.

Test all the warning lights on the dash by turning the key to the run position WITHOUT starting the engine all the warning lights should be lit.
