Looking to buy a 2007 Fit Sport
Hey guys! I'm new to the forums here. I just recently had purchased a 7th gen Honda Accord, but would like something smaller and a bit sportier. For this reason I've been looking into the Honda Fit Sport. I found one near me that has a clean carfax with only 1 owner, 5 speed manual, but it has 140k miles on it. I was wondering, do you guys think thats too many miles? They have it listed for $4.7k. I'm mostly concerned about getting a car with 140k miles. Also, what should I look for when I go to look at it? Thanks!!!

140K is no issue.
Look for complete maintenance records (not just oil changes). If none, deduct the cost of the following services from a Honda dealer:
Coolant Replacement
Clutch & brake fluid replacement
Manual Trans fluid replacement
Ignition Coils
spark plugs
Valve lash adjustment
Engine and cabin filters
Without records, you should do the above anyway...
Check for signs of water leakage front & rear & trunk. Feel under any floor mats.
All recalls done
A/C works, no compressor clutch noises when cold
No worn spots in carpet (drivers area mainly)
Trade in is $2.5/$3K

Good luck!
