My wife just bought a 2013 Fit base in vortex blue pearl. She's replacing a 10 year old worn out Malibu. I was encouraging her to get a CRV or Element, but she wanted something smaller - a Civic coupe or Fit. As we're both in our 50s (and newlyweds) and she likes to keep her cars 10+ years, she agreed that the Fit will be a lot easier to enter & exit as the years go by.

Though she bought the car almost a week ago, she's still driving the Malibu until she sells it due to the nasty weather we've been having. That's given me a chance to order a set of Weathertech mats for it, arriving today, and a set of Michelin X-Ice3 winter tires for the stock wheels, arriving Saturday. (Merry Christmas, dear.) I'll get her a set of 15" aftermarket alloy wheels with Honda TPMS in the spring.

As you can see from my user name, i tend to go through lots of cars and trucks - especially since I drive about 30K miles a year for work. The S2k is my latest addition, having found an 05 with 6,200 miles on it last spring. I've owned a wide assortment of domestic and Japanese cars & trucks including Vettes, an Allante, and Lexus GS, LS, & LX. Maybe my wife can slow down that compulsion.
