Question New FIT Owner; Also question

Hi! I recently purchased my first car I've ever owned, the 2016 Fit EX in silver. After having experience with my friend who has an '09 Fit Sport, I just had to make my first car the Fit!

I love my Fit so far, but the one thing bothering me is the angle of the headlights don't quite light up the road as they should. I was hoping the expertise of the FF forums could help me out! Basically, I'd like to know how many turns and in what direction should I adjust the headlights (if I remember reading there's a place to adjust the headlights with a Philips screwdriver)?

Congratulations on your purchase. Surely you haven't lost the owner's manual yet. What's it say in there about aim headlights?
YouTube can help you with how to aim headlights. In short, you find a flat surface, park a certain distance away from a wall, then aim that way. Please don't just aim them up without measuring them because it will just blind other drivers.
I find my '13 fit to do a poor job of lighting up highways with just low beams, but with high beams, it's fine.

Thank you! I'll have a look see at the manual and see if it says anything about the headlights. I'll definitely look over some YouTube videos too.

Report back what you find. I'm curious to know if the headlights were aimed incorrectly from the factory.

They were most definitely misaligned for me.

Rubygirl14, welcome and enjoy your new Fit.

Thank you! I've been really enjoying my Fit! I still have not adjusted my lights but that's because I live in an apartment complex, so when I find a wall and a level ground I will be taking the time to adjust it.
