Smile New '16 Fit Owner

I wanted to introduce myself to the forum. My name is John. Just bought a 2016 Fit EX. I love everything about it so far. Tons of room. My bike fits in the Fit. My passengers fit. I think it's a pretty quiet ride.

My only complaint is Honda Link does not work with Android. I have a Google Nexus 6P. Bluetooth paired nicely and my contacts synced right up. Music plays but I'd like to have the Link capability to see my phone's map on the 7" screen cia the Honda Link app.

Anyway...Hello from the midwest USA.

Cheers,
LH

"My bike fits in the Fit." could you please elaborate on this. your bike size, your height, inseam. Are you removing the front wheel and clamping in the fork? Laying the bike down? back wheel in first? I'm trying to get a better Idea of if my bike will fit without actually taking it to the dealer. I'm hoping to put the back wheel in first with the forks clamped to the floor. BTW I ride a 54' frame with a 32 inseam. Any info would be helpful. Also congrats on your purchase.
Thanks

I have a size 55 frame. I folded down the back seat. Removed the front wheel. Lay the bike down, rear wheel closest to passenger seat fork near cargo door/driver side. Seat post has lots of clearance. 30 seconds in, 30 seconds out. Easy.

I have a hitch rack from my old car, but I didn't want to put a receiver on my Fit (just yet, anyway). I also don't want to stow the bike without something to protect the cargo floor and the seat back when they're laid down because the pedal will rub a hole in the seat back/cargo floor if left unprotected.

Nice. My Fit is a '12 Sport but I am also always amazed at how much stuff and people fit in it. My only wish is that it had a higher total weight limit, because it's often at capacity before it's actually full, in my experience. Like, you put 4 people in there, and their stuff, and it all fits but you're at or over the max weight limit.

Tried posting some pics. The pics went to the Gallery page but didn't post in the reply message. I'll have to go back an re-read the inserting photos instructions for forum newbies again.

I believe that is your fuel economy indicator. green = good gas mileage bluegreen = ok gas mileage blue = lower gas mileage.
