Good day from South Africa!

Hi FitFreaks, I am from South Africa.

My first Honda I own is the Honda Ballade/ City GM6 which shares the same engine as some GK5 Honda Jazz/Fit variants. It's the L15Z1. I hope that you will accept me based on this that we share one common, but important part and that is the heart of the vehicle.

I am here purely for the development of the engine itself and also share the same love for the Honda Fit/ Jazz. If I had more cash, I'd definitely buy a GK5 as well!

Looking forward to a good relationship with the people of this forum and beyond! Cheers!

So let's try this again...

What I have is a 2014 Honda Ballade (better known as a Honda City/ Grace) GM6. It if fitted with the L15Z1 SOHC i-VTEC engine. 88kW and 145Nm @ 6600rpm.

The mods so far:

Aero:
Front bumper trims
Rear bumper trims
Side door trims
Mudflaps
Sports type grille
Ducktail boot spoiler

Engine:
KN flatbed filter

Stability:
Ultra Racing rear strut brace
Ultra Racing middle under brace (to be fitted)
Ultra Racing front strut brace (to be fitted)

Wheels:
17" Lenso Project D Spec F (to be fitted, just saving up on money for tyres)

Future mod is going to be a custom short ram induction, and also a custom front under splitter.

And here I'm struggling to sell my OEM wheels! I'm going to keep the car, possible K series swap later but we see.

Thanks for the compliment!

Hey peeps,

Been a long time since I posted here. I hope I don't break any norms here... I share the same chassis as the GK5 so I figured I'd find a home so ling as the engines are also the same.

So I finally fitted my wheels, they look great on the car, and my coilovers have arrived. I just need to fit them. Please not that these coilovers will also work on the GK5 Honda Fit.

I'll see how it looks if I need a spacer once the car is lowered. I will be installing myself. Thanks for the reply

GL on the install!

support the front knuckle to prevent the cv joint from coming apart when dropping front struts.
