New Owner Here!

Hey there Fit/Jazz community!
The 2018 Jazz I have is my first car and this is the first forum I have ever registered on. I've had the car for a little over two weeks now and am glad I decided to go down this route. Apart from the CVT - only option out here in the middle Eastern markets, nothing about the car so far has been annoying or out of place-----except the wheels/tires fitment. I'm not sure if this is true for all stock Fits or if it's a market specific issue, or maybe it is just how it is. But the wheels don't seem to come out to fit the arches nearly as much as I would hope a stock car would. I don't expect it to be perfect, but they're fitment is just too narrow. I spoke to my dealer about going down the spacers route, or swapping the wheels and tires out for wider ones. But both these things mean that my warranty goes out the window. I also have the option to just for wider tires on the stock wheels but am not sure how this would affect the appearance. If anyones done this before, I could use the advice. Thanks

Welcome to the forum and congrats on your purchase.

Swapping out the wheels will void the warranty!?! That seems excessive. Wider tires won’t really help much as you need too push the center of the wheel out which is done with spacers or new wheels.

wider stance can put stress on the wheel bearings but i’d just get some 20mm spacers for the rears and see if u like it. take them off before visiting the dealer i suppose.
