Dash cam hardwired for parking mode, battery concerns? (VIOFO A229 / 151R Battery)
Hello, I'm new! If I'm breaking rules, kindly let me know.
Short version: does anybody have experience with the VIOFO A229 dash cam (or any hardwired 24 hour parking mode monitoring dash cam) in a Honda Fit with a 151R battery? Do you have issues starting your car after leaving it overnight? What voltage cutoff has worked for you?
I drive a 2013 Honda fit with the typical 151R battery.
I live in the city and as such I often have to park on the street overnight. I just paid my car off so I want to protect it!
Thusly, I want to hard wire a dash cam with parking mode to help monitor my car overnight in case somebody hits it in the night**.**
I'm worried about battery drain after leaving the car for one to two days. What are your experiences with this setup in a Honda Fit with a 151R battery?
