Question Can any Honda techs assist?

I have a Huge question that I know will be an easy answer for those that can help. So here goes...

I have a 2014 Sport w/ Nav. I have a separate XM radio on the dash but would like other features this same deck offers on my moms 2013 Civic EX-L/Nav. Id like to get a pdf of the schematic of the rear of those 2 decks. I'd love to see how hard it would be to just buy a 13' Civ nav on ebay, swap the decks and be able to enjoy the text messaging feature, reverse cam, xm in the radio and other things. I hope not having the 2nd gen MID wont cause issues since this deck utilizes that too. I'm staying stock. I can afford having my car with hand controls broken into or stolen because of the next hot deck calling their name haha.

On the surface I believe this is not possible. The problem will be the CANBUS network. each HU is tied to the VIN# of the vehicle. It will not sync and may even possibly brick the HU.

But if you're deck gets replaced by Honda, it doesn't. I think the better deck to compare is the CRZ which is exactly the same but has XM and reverse cam. No 2nd Gen IMID screen to patch through.
