I just installed the morimoto XB headlight for 17 fit and I'm having problems with the DRL fuse tap that is supplied. I added the fuse tap to "17" DRL fuse panel but the DRL doesn't turn off when the engine shuts off. Any suggestions, am I doing something wrong?

 

So if the DRL stays on when the ignition is off the DRL is wired directly to power instead of a switched source.

That fuse tap probably supplies power to the DRL circuit/relay but not to the actual lights. The lights are most likely controlled via a relay. You need to tap the switched side of the relay not the powered (hot) side.
