I did a search and all and I didnt see anything about the JDM Map Light install. Is there a DIY because I cant find it. I know that "wyy183" is the one giving the info but I searched his name and couldnt find a thread he made.

I know its not that hard, what I really wanted to know is when you tap into the dome lights will the lights come on when the doors open; then slowly dim after theyre closed? And what wire is that? Thats what I really want. And then of course the regular 12v source so I can turn them on when needed.

My map lights didnt come with bulbs, wiring, directions, screws, connectors, or anything at that. Was it suppose to?
Also one of the 2 clear covers is the same. So I need to send it back because it doesnt clip in.

 

Where at? The only thread that says "Map Lights" is mine and the thread about the Acura CL Homelink.

Nothing about JDM MAP LIGHT. And doing a search brings up my thread.

Did it. I couldnt figure out a way to run the lights connected to the dome lights (on and off with the door) AND have a 12volt source to turn them on when needed.

I dont think its possible unless you mess with the switch.

*The map lights are the same thing as 2004 Civics.*
