I'm making this post because I wasn't able to find the information when I was wiring my new light bar. For reference I installed it behind the lower grill portion and needed a way to get the switch through the fire wall. I ended up routing the wire through the upper wheel well on the driver side and pushing the wire through a grommet next to the hood release cable. It basically follows the same path as the hood release cable but enters the cab through a different hole. If you watch a video on how to replace your hood release cable you will see the same hole covered by a small plastic grommet.
