Hi Ro_Ja Boy,

I attempted this a few months back and when I heated housing up with heat gun and start to pry the light apart, I found the black part a bit soft. Did you have any issue with the black part or back of the housing when prying apart the light?

Definitely. The black plastic is very soft. When putting them back together I flattened it back out. I think that next time I will use some kind of roller to flatten it even better.

Thanks for the nice comments guys!

looks really nice. I don't like copying but i think I might be doing this. I painted my front H emblem flat black and i think it would blend very nice.
Did you use krylon flat black or ultra flat black?i have tons of this paints for my graffitis

I really like the look of that a lot. I personally think it looks better than the OEM NBP headlights, the flat paint is much nicer! Damn I miss my black housing JDM teg .. sigh

yes, there's krylon flat black enamel and krylon ultra flat black enamel. I guess flat is best since it wont look like a fading black as ultra flat does. Thanks man

I like the tinted winshield. I wish you could do that in Georgia. I'm not even sure if you can tint the headlights in this state.

Very nice job - brave to try that on your Fit! but it looks great. As above
Honda should make them all this color just to give it some variety. We are
all wanting them black so why not Honda! Listen to the Fit Freaks on this
one.

Did mine myself too in flat black Krylon paint as well. Took 20 min each side to do. The funny thing is the headlights were already kinda separated from the insane tropical heat that we have here in Indonesia. I could separate the body from the cover by hand.

Honda have been selling the Fit locally in Japan up until the latest facelift with black-only inner headlight housing. The newest facelifted model is now color-matched to the body.

The Jazz in other markets have been sold with chrome inner housing.
