Anyone have pics of foglight bulb install?

I can't for the life of me figure out how to take the old bulb out. I did what the manual said and squeezed the connector to unlock the tab. Sliding it out afterwards is not working. Either I'm weak or something else is going on, cuz I strained pretty damn hard to pull it out. Anyone have any suggestions because I got pretty pissed and almost broke the entire housing

If you have the screws that hold it in place out and it is just hanging there the easiest way to disconnect them is with a flathead screwdriver. You have to slide it into that connector slot and it pushes down the tab.

The bulb itself is easy, just turn it and it pops out.

You have to turn the bulb clockwise and it should pull straight out. It took me a while to figure it out as well, for some reason my manual didn't have instructions.

Hmm not sure then, I pushed in the connector tab and just pulled down, it came off rather easy, remember the h11 bulb has a L shape so you dont pull straight back.

you can remove the bulb from the housing without disconnecting the harness. Just turn it pull out then you can easily use 2 hands to disconnect the harness.

actually... if u have never removed the foglight bulbs before, it's REALLY hard. I think ur just weak (no offense) cuz the first time i unplugged my bulb from the harness, WOWWW was it really hard. Just keep attempting it, it'll unclip. Don't remove the bulb from the housing first, ur risking touching the bulb and burning it out, thus wasting a perfectly good bulb. Just try 2 unplug the bulb from the harness while it's still in the housing.

I tried dude, seriously I used every ounce of strength in my body, it just wouldnt come off the damn thing. I'm gonna turn the bulb and pull that out so at least I can put the housing down and focus my strength more on pulling it out of the plug connector thingy

Man, if you're having a tough time w/ the fogs, you're gonna have a blast replacing the front 194 parking wedges.

Look for the tab. The tab clips the harness in place. If you are doing it rite, the harness really pops rite off. You don't need to force it really hard.

If you touch the bulb by accident it is not ruined. Clean it off with a rag and some isopropyl alcohol. The oil from your fingers if left on the bulb will cause a hotspot on the glass and premature failure. Clean it right and you will be fine if it gets touched.
