I think they look different than the JDM style every other person has.

I agree with Rod2Rice, they need to be color matched a bit if you are going to put them on a NHBP Fit. Flat Black is going to stand out like a sore thumb, maybe hit it with some high gloss black paint?

Bottom line is you will never know until you try them out. I had people scoff at getting Chrome & black rims on my car, but it is a style all of my own. I like it, that is all that matters. I think you should try them out.

Its always nice to be different. If I were getting those they would totally be painted body color. Then you really pretty much have a 1 off set of lights. I did that to a set of headlights I had on my Durango, I could easily say no one had the same set of lights I had. I think these are really one of those kinds that will look better once on the car.

Once you get them post some pics for sure, I want to see how they end up looking. I have been throwing around the idea of some new tail lights but I want to do something different than the JDM style.

I wonder how they would look painted SSM?

As long as they are color matched with whatever color, I think they will look good. The flat black probably would look OK on any other color other than a black Fit. The LED ones I have are flat black inside and I think they work for me. The flat right next to glossy black would throw it off.
