Headlamp Relay through ignition switch?

Headlamp Relay through ignition switch?
For 20 years I drove Subarus and could leave the headlamps on all the time because they go out when you stop the engine. Consequently, I got out of the habit of even touching the headlight control except from high/low beams.
Now I have a 2008 Fit (non-sport, auto) and keep forgetting to turn on the headlamps in rain/marginal light conditions. Not a good idea in a small black car.
Has anyone routed the headlamp relay control through the ignition switch "ON" position so the headlamp switch can be left on all the time and the lights go off when the engine is off?
