Hmm Headlight scheme

I gotta question.. since you cant use JDM GD3 headlights on a USDM GD3 .. cant you just swap headlights from a Black USDM fit??? Is the color integrated into the headlight or is it just clear???

You could swap them, but the black is a factory glossy black in the US headlight

Why won't the foreign market headlights work on the U.S. cars?

What would the warranty have to do with swapping in a factory Honda part? the only thing that is different is the paint colour??

The whole front end of the NA Fit is different than ROW.

We have a longer front end due to safety restrictions. So, our headlights, hood and front bumper (and I'm guessing the rad-support) are all different.

I would like to buy an oem black housing headlight too and retrofit them with H.I.D. projectors. But since the USDM models are so new at the moment its pretty pricey and the JDM version might need modifications to make it fit properly. Unless I'm wrong.
