It's hard as hell. You have to peel back the piece under the front fender, right behind the headlight, and remove the bulb from underneath. I bought blue bulbs for mine and gave up trying to install them. Instructions are in the book.

Just follow the instructions in the manual. I HIGHLY recomend that you remove your front tires instead of just turing your wheels inward. If you do that, It'll be cake.

It’s in the manual.

All you have to do is remove a clip in the front fender, pull the plastic down so you can see the wiring harness and pull it out. After that, remove the dust cover and behind that you’ll see a clip holding the bulb snugly in place. Release the clip that holds the bulb in place, take the bulb out and put the new one in. Put everything back together and you're done. Repeat this for the other side.

I suggest taking off the front wheels to make it ALOT easier on yourself.

Guys.....

To get to the bulbs, remove the front part of the inner fenders as the other posts say, it is quick and easy.

Or, you can do it by removing the bumper, which can be done in about 15 minutes, I know I have done it.

I have owned several cars that were a LOT harder to change bulbs in, the Fit is easy with a lot of access.....once you take a couple minutes and peel back the inner fender. No battery, ABS, Aircon, etc stuff in the way.

My first post and also my first contribution on FitFreak.net:

Here's an easy-to-understand guide on how to remove the front bumper for those who choose to go this route:

I unclipped the fender liner when i changed my bulbs.

I just replaced my OEM bulbs with some $0.99( + $7.99 shipping) 65/55 4700K H4 HB2 SUPER WHITE XENON BULBS on eBay and they look atleast 10 times better. Also it only took me 2 minutes per bulb. I just took out the one clip/screw and pulled the wheel well out as far as it can go and stuck my hand in and unplugged the it pulled the rubber cover off. unclipped the bulb took the bulb out and pull the new one in. reclipped it. put the rubber cover back on and plugged it back in. put the wheel cover back in it's original spot and put the clip back on and did the same on the other side and I was done. It's really not that hard once you do it.

I'm going to tackle this after breakfast today... sounds like a wide range of experiences, from "it took me 5 minutes" to "it took me 40 minutes and I got nothing accomplished". The manual makes it sound easy, but we'll see what happens in practice. I'm going to be changing out the main bulbs, blinkers, fogs (which I know I need to get to from the front), and if I feel like it, the wedge bulbs. Wish me luck.

Ok! I need DIY changing the Headlight and fog light. Anyone can provide a tutorial with pictures?

Plus I was thinking to change my bulb to WHITE light without doing any wiring thing or conversions. Its like "Plug and Play".

Anyone recommendation would appreciate!

Did anyone run into the problem of dust entering the headlight housing? After installing the HIDs, I thought my headlights were dirty, but I tried dusting it off, but I noticed it was from the inside of the headlight!

The headlight wasn't exposed for a long period of time, just taking out the original bulb and putting in the HIDs. Is there any way to get rid of the dust from the inside?

Fog Lights

One of my fog lights blew out and I cannot figure out how to get to it to replace it. Any suggestions? (I looked in the manual, it didn't help!) Thanks!

Unscrew the screw on the side of the fog light housing on the front bumper and slide housing out of bumper. then unlock bulb and replace.
