Automatic Headlights
Has anyone installed a sensor to turn the headlights on automaticlly at night when the engine is running. I always seem to forget to turn on lights when it gets dark. All my other cars have a sensor in the dash. Thanks for your help. Leif

Leave the switch in the ON position, and the lights are always on when driving around. The good part is... when you turn off the engine and open a door (or off engine + time), the lights go OFF.

I miss this feature about my volvo s40. It was called "home lighting" in their manual. You could set an amount of time up to 1 minute for the lights to remain on once you exited the vehicle to sort of light the way for you to safely make it to the house or whatever. Also, the same functionality was present as mentioned above with the pathfinder. You just left the lights in the on position all the time.

Old thread but I just came across this. There is an official Honda accessory called "Auto Light" for 2005 Honda Fit GD1 - part number 08V33SAD80091.
The control unit velcro on the dash next to the A pillar with an on/off switch. You can also adjust the sensitivity with a dial.
It should fit GD3 also.

Thanks. Do you have any more info on this such as a weblink? I was unable to find it with a search.
