Question Top and Bottom Brake Lights on GD3

Has anyone changed out the parking light at the top of the tail light to make it a 7443 brake/parking light?

I have yet to see it, but theres not wiring for it there, you'd have to wire it in yourself.

Hey gd3vbp,
Good point what I thought is make a stencil of the brake light holder hole from the bottom, and with a dremil tool cut it out @ the top buy the B/P light holder and jumper the brake signal from the bottom light to the top.
And ya know the new Audis I really like the LED's and want to somehow incorperate that into the Fit tails????

Nice look with the LEDs next to fogs - is that real or just Photoshopped?

Yes you can buy the lampholders, but be aware that if you get them from Honda they come without wires. I'd recommend junkyard recycling or a parts store as a source instead.

Ya that's my "real" work there. and the upper brake lights the easiest thing to do is to buy a 1157 socket and open up the hole w/ a uni-bit. Hard wire to the lower bulb and that's that.
