okay so i checked the headlight bulb size for a 2010 fit on the sticky and it states that the size is 9003. i have also checked autozone.com which says its also 9003.

My problem is, i have a friend hooking me up with HIDS and he keeps saying that hes verrry sure that the bulb size is an h4 because of the hi/lo

i just wanted someone who has installed hids on their GE8 to confirm

H4/9003/HB2 are basically the same thing.

9003/HB2 is supposed to be a "tighter" version of the bulbs according to US specs, which, let's be honest, is the US being a-holes.

A good quality H4 bulb is no different. A bad one however, is bad.

More or less. The 9003/HB2 specs require the filament to be in a certain spot to be used in the US. H4 isn't as demanding, they're more of a "in the general area" spec. But, like I said... newer, better quality H4 bulbs take the 9003/HB2 spec into account... so in the end, they're the same bulb.

That's what the owner's manual says...
