Where to order tail light cover?

Hi folks,

I'm a complete newbie when it comes to car issues, so I'm sorry if this question is stupid.

I recently cracked and broke off the cover of one of my tail lights on my 2009 Fit Sport. I understand that replacing the cover should be easy to DIY, but I don't know where to order a replacement cover.

So far all I've been able to find are entire tailight replacement modules. I don't need all that, however, as the bulb works fine, etc. I just need to replace the cover.

Any recommendations?

Thank you in advance!

I don't think the tail lights are sold like that.

As far as I know, they're sold as whole housings.

The "easy to DIY" usually refers to opening up an existing housing to smoke (darken) it, then put it back together.

I see.

I guess that replacing the entire tail light would not be so easy to DIY?

I guess I should probably just take it to a body shop then.

Replacing the tail light is EASY. It's like pop a panel on the inside, 3 bolts, 3 clips and bam, it's out...then reverse.

Please don't take it to a body shop just to replace the tail light...they will RAPE you.

Buy one off ebay--or if it's cheaper, buy a set of aftermarket tails...it is soooooo easy to change. 30 minutes...tops for both sides.

Sorry, I didn't mean to imply it was hard, I only meant that any DIYs you might've found about opening up the housings for just for that, opening the housings (not replacing individual parts).

Swapping out the tail light for a new housing is an easy DIY too, just like Btrthnezr3 said.

The part number for the standard tail lights are:

33500-TK6-A01 (right side)
33550-TK6-A01 (left side)

So hopefully, if they claim to be OEs on ebay, they'll list part #s.
