Retrofit helps the glare on our normal headlights. Search through the site and you will see some cutoff photos of the HID beams..

Both headlights and fogs are controlled seperately, but when you turn on high beams, the fogs turn off as usual.

The 6000k does have a slight blue tint to it and that's why I chose 6000k.

The higher the K (kelvin temp) you go in HID's the less light output there will be.
Basically put it this way; the higher the K the more COLOR. The more COLOR the LESS LIGHT.

12000k will be a deep purple color. Horrible light output. 6000k and lower is what I suggest.

All HID kits are different as far as quality and lighting. I had an Ebay 8000k kit a long time ago in my Mx6 and the light output was great. The color was a polar white. Very crisp and it lit the road up! I sold it to a friend and the kit is still working great. Its over 4 years old. I have a retro fit in my Mx6 now.

Too much color. Some people like it, I dont. Ive seen cars drive down the road with deep purple headlights and I can see nothing on the road. Id hate to be them in the rain.

Also the more hours (older they get) added to HID bulbs they gain more color. So basically if you order a 12000k kit the more you use the HID kit the darker and less light the kit will put onto the road. Thats why I suggest 6000k and lower.

4300k is the best of course. You'll have years of great light output. I just bought a 4300k HID kit. Hahaa!

Yoda,

What brand of lights are you headlight and foglight? How much?
Do you get any flashes from oncoming traffic?

Are the headlights more brighter than stock by far?

What is the luminosity for the stock headlights? Brightness is the most important thing for me.
