Lightbulb Laminex Headlight?

Anyone ever use the same yellow laminex everyone uses on the fogs on the entire headlight?

Or any other color? like a faint blue, or a almost like a mild tint? NOT BLACKED OUT. just darken them a tad.

I'd be surprised if someone here did. That's highly illegal and unlike darkening your tails, doing your headlights will get you pulled over very often. I had a friend that tried something similar on his car and he had to undo it because he was pulled over a lot. He said whenever he was, they only cared about his headlights and said his darkened tails were fine, even though technically they were illegal as well.

I was more asking about the tint out of curiosity. Didn't know any of that. I was more interested in the laminex idea. Got to thinking about it though, and I think our headlights are too big. It would probably look weird.

I put on the clear Xpel film. It was a hard install due to the shape of the headlights.

Agree on you. im only using it on my fogs as they have burning marks on the center and getting worse little by little.

I was going to do this, but decided to only do my fog lights. If anyone wants to buy the head light stuff I have it for sale.

We have had quite a few Fit owners use a variety of Headlight Protection kits over the years. Given the size of the headlights (and their $300 list price each), adding a layer of protection is a good idea. We have a few member photos of the Clear, GT Yellow, and HID Blue on the site here

Is this a direct fit?

the 07-08's are more effort to put on due to the bigger dome of the light. There is some additional material as well as some handling tabs to help with getting it on that will need to be trimmed off. the 09-12's are more or less a direct fit, depending on how they are aligned and applied you may need to shave an edge off here or there but there are no tabs to trim off. Hope that answered your question.
