Fog Light Protection Covers...

I'm posting this to see if anyone is intrested in this idea.

I saw a post where someone's foglight lens broke. So hopefully I can come up with a set of clear plexi glass covers for it.

It's going to be made of somewhere near 1/4" Plexi glass. I'm going to throw it in a mill to cut out the plexi glass and mill out a FIT or "H" logo in the center of it for looks.

Any comments would be great. Just wanna help out fit owners..

that's awsome that ur gonna build something like that but its easier and cheaper if you just put some lamin-x on it because it is a very thick vinyl and it's practically invisible (if u get the clear one) and it also protects it. Rocks actually bounce off the vinyl so its all good. U can even put yellow vinyl (check out my diy) and look cool!

That's a pretty good idea. Thanks for lettin me know. I didn't see that write up. My Idea on the plexi glass was to have a logo on the fog lights kinda like the PIAAs. But that's if I get enough intrests...

don't get me wrong but ur idea is cool but it's gonna be very pricey to build plus u have to find a way for the plexiglass to stay on. U could just get some eched vinyl and stick it on the foglight then take the laminx and put it on top of that. just my $.02.

Plexi is cheap, figuring out how to mount it is another thing. Once I get my car I will be able to find out how to mount it on there. Shouldn't be too hard. The CNC Mill is owned by a friend so I have unlimited use..

I might have to check out that Laminx stuff. I don't know where u get that material though..
