Footwell Lighting

So I know this is a popular topic. Footwell lighting. However after looking though all of the posts, I want to know what kit or type of lights do you recommend?

I am new at this and I want to find the right kit/light set up for me.

Specs; 2012 HONDA FIT. Paint color: Polished Metal Metallic

I would like to find Blue colored lights, so it will match the accessory lights inside.

If you could, oh fit wizards.
* Could you suggest your favorite kits, types of lights (LED, Strips, Tubes, etc) with links to purchase websites (if possible).
* And where you placed your lights in the car? I would like to do front and possibly back footwells, but I am a little confused on where to place them, especially in the back.
* And finally, what type of set up did you use? Did you wire it in, with current wiring? so that it is on constantly on or only comes on when the door opens? or did you use your own switch, so you can control when they are on and off, with possible brightness adjustment and pulsation with sound?

Sorry for all the questions, but I just wanted to be thorough before drilling/wiring and wasting money.

THANKS!

Why not just go with the OEM lighting kit? At least with that you will get all the right connectors.

Plus shipping, right?

I'll make it worth your while if you want this setup. It's been in for all of two weeks now but removes super easily.

For $20 approx can do both front and rear.

Get two sets of these. and hook them up to to the dome light circuit at the fuse box.

http://www.ebay.ca/itm/390461935911?...84.m1423.l2649

The rears can be fastened to the bottom of the seats.

Here is pic of fuse box. The plug with pnk and blue are the ones to connect too.

May I ask how much?
Also I hope my previous statement was not taken as rude.

I tried tapping into those wires for a home made footwell lighting but the ground is reversed? The footwell led comes on when door is closed and off when i open the door, wtf? LED obviously only work in 1 polarity so its not like i have wires crossed. I wanted them to be in sync with teh dome light.

MO.

Did you pull the pink and blue out of the sockets? If so maybe you put them back in the wrong ones? If not them try switching the wires from the LED and see what happens. At worse nothing. At best they work.
