I have a problem with some of the illumination lights in my 2007 Fit.

So, I bought the car and the small light fuse was blowing so I just paid $600 for the mechanic to track down the short and fix it. He said I had a number of wires coming loose behind the dash and one that was completely grounding.

So, now the fuse is not blowing, but when I turn the headlights on, the tach light turns off. The speedo light and the mpg light are fine and adjustable with the little knob, but the tach light is off all together. All the lights work fine when the headlights are not on.

Also, not sure if this is related, but the factory radio gets really dim when I turn the headlights on. So dim, I can't see it or read it at all. Again, it works fine when headlights are not on.

And one more thing, I'm not sure what other Fits are like, and mine has been like this when I bought it, but shouldn't there be some lights on the a/c knobs, etc.? I have none.
