Silverstars

I have Silverstars installed for the low/high beams on the regular lights. However, the fogs are standard halogen, and don't match the same color temperature.

It looks like Sylvania hasn't released an H11 yet for the Silverstar line, anyone else know something to the contrary?

If they have H9's you can fit them in with a few minutes of work..

Personally I've gone through a lot of headlight bulbs and I don't think that Silverstars put out as much light as other options. Yea the color is good, but GE Nighthawk and Philips Vision plus put out a LOT more light.

Here's a good article:

I agree, I had Silverstars(Sylvania not Osram) on my Xterra, they burn out very quickly. I've been using GE Nighthawks on the Xterra and Fit. They are bright and last a lot longer.

I stopped "drinking the Silverstar Kool-Aid" last year after they burned out a second time on my Element. I recently found the www.danielsternlighting.com articles and plan on trying the Nighthawks too.
