HID Fogs went out
HID Fogs went out
Hey guys!
So a few months ago, my fog light each went out one by one. I have 3000k hid kits for my fog lights.
I know during my installation, I accidentally touched the bulbs without gloves which I thought may have caused the bulbs to burn out. So I finally got around to purchasing new bulbs, installed them with gloves on this time, and they both still don't turn on.
I checked the fuse and the fuse didn't seem to have burned out. What do you guys think might be the problem?

if you have HIDs. you need to check the ballasts... they could've fried too. are you using a relay or direct connects?
if you want to trouble shoot the ballast, you can either swap in a new set if you have one... or unplug the HID kit and plug in the stock fog light bulbs (if you don't have one, buy it, it's cheaper than a HID kit). if the halogen bulbs light up, the ballasts are fried.
ps. it's not a good idea to touch the bulbs with ANYTHING. avoid all contact with that glass...
