I need some help figuring out what wires to splice into to get my lights to work. I've looked all over and can't seem to find the answer anywhere. I have ambients hooked up to the dome light to come on with the door/alarm with ease, but my question is this:

Where do I hook them up so I can 1) turn on my ambients and dome light with a switch (so some sort of constant or something), and 2) have my ambients come on with my running lights/headlights?

Any help with this would be great. I have the wiring I need done, with diodes to prevent feed back from either the dome light and ambients to the running lights or vice versa, I just need to know where to splice into everything. Pics/drawings would be greatly appreciated. If anyone is interested, I may create a small DIY with some pics for this hook up.
