Finally added some LED Running Lights.

Finally pulled the bumper off to tap into the parking lamps to throw on 2 strips of side emitting LEDs. I not overly 100% happy with the look, maybe I should have put the lights lower in the grill/bumper, but eh...it was cold, and it looks good. Now I don't have to waste hours on the headlight bulbs!!!

Next goal: High power 3-up Endor stars with Narrow optics, for deerlamps. Which the finished lamp is brighter than my V-Strom's headlamps with Silverstars in :-/

Add one more strip in the middle to make one continuous strip?

It's my wife's driver, and she said no, right before I added it. I think it would have looked even odder with one fulll strip.

Amazon....I think the seller was Uxcell, and they are simply 12v side emitting white.

I added some LED drl's earlier last month. I was originally going to put them underneath the headlights, but the groove between it and the bumper was too narrow, and I was too lazy to take off the entire bumper. So I decided to put it on top instead. It actually worked out quite nicely. If you pop open the hood, there's a perfect groove where you can tape the LED strips on the headlight units itself. And I think they look pretty good up top.

I couldn't get my camera to adjust to the lighting with both headlights in view, so I had to get pretty close to only one of the headlights for the pictures to turn out right.

Without headlights on (still had some trouble with my crappy camera phone adjusting to the lights)
