Ah, Philips, leave it to the Dutch.......Glad to see this, having driven with the true "yellow" bulbs in French-spec cars many years ago, they are nice, espeically in bad weather, but had limitations in short distance, and seeing pavement stripes, but this takes the cake!

Amazed to see US listing, and (I assume) US-DOT approval.

I still have some yellow H4 bulbs on the shelf, probably older than some of the folks that post here?

Just got mine and installed yesterday. Didn't have a chance to try it in the real world. In the parking lot, it seems to be brighter (but not whiter) then stock. And I do see the 3 different colours. I'll try it get some photo since my d-cam is a bit sick these days. Once it's recovered, I'll take some shot.

Something interest: after I installed it, I turn it on to test it. Since my car is VERY dirty (think rally), I can see the light on the headlight cover. If you were to look it at from the front of the car, you'll see the yellow part on the passenger side, and blue part on the drivers side. At first I though I've installed it wrong. But after checking, I don't see where I went wrong, so I backed up the car and look at the pattern on the wall. On the wall, the pattern is correct. e.g. blue on passenger, yellow on driver. Hum...

Life span of ONLY 300 hours?

And life span is about 300 hrs.
If they only last for 300 hours you'll be changing bulbs a lot if you do much night driving, wont you ?

Seriously, that doesn't sound like much of a life span.

Finally got my camera (actually i have to buy a new one). Anyhow, here's the pics I promised:

It has a nice, clean cut-off. Unfortunately, The tri-colour can't be captured on the camera (either it's my skill, or it's my camera. I tend to believe it's the later ). However, thanks to my super dirty front, those colour are actually projected on my lens,

From here, you'll see the yellow, the white, and the blue. Have fun!

I know what my next bulbs will be...The Luminics I got From HFITUSA are pretty sweet looking but I have a short attention span...and I love light bulbs.
