LED Conversion complete.

Just converted my fogs and headlights to LED from V-LED dot com.

I have to say this project should not have taken as long as it did. First off I couldn't figure out which way to rotate the lights so that the light guards didn't aim the light the wrong way. After that we couldn't get the metal bracket that holds the bulb in place over the cooling fins. Finally we succeeded and this is the end result.

Right: fog light LED 4500k Left: headlight LED 6k

Best I could do, not to many places to do that around here. Not sure why there is a split in the lighting.

without fogs on

With v-leds, do you still need to have projectors ?

Nope. Are you talking about supposed to from a legal standpoint it? Or from the hardware fitting?

Boom. There we go. I don't like how it's split in the middle. From further distance it seems like the light shines in the air but I haven't been flashed by incoming drivers so it must be fine.

looks like the cut off still isnt comparable to real projectors for LEDs. your passenger side seems a little high, but that is not really an issue since a little higher is good for lighting up signs on the right side of the road.

That's one of the ugliest light outputs i've ever seen. Please put your oem bulbs back in there, you will have way more light output. LED's as headlight bulbs are a gimmick, sorry to say. I'd recommend getting a real retrofit done using the Morimoto mini H1 7.0 projectors.

I have a question. I own an 08' Fit sport 5spd AT. I have stock halogens in original assemblies. I want to convert it to LEDs feom VLEDS.com, i want to put these specific ones in it: H4 LED HEADLIGHTS HIGH/LOW HIGH OUTPUT LMZ PLATINUM 45W . Can i do that with the stock wiring in my car and headlight assembly or do i neednother aftermarket parts?

The wiring will be fine the stock bulb likely pull more current than the LED does, but the reflector/LED combo is very specific, and if the bulb and reflector don't match the out put will suck, and or be awful for oncoming traffic..

I bought the headlights i was wanting and have come across a small hiccup, the rubber weather seal is slightly in the way of the thermal heatsink/fan on the back of the bulb. Any suggestions on how to get around this or do I really even need it in place?

I just tried two sets of LED headlights and both had major beam pattern issues. I put the halogens back in... Read more here: https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/fit-...ht-review.html
