I want to install interior blue neons to match my dash lights to light up the floor. Has anyone done this themselves on their fit? I have a 2011 Fit Sport. Pics would be good to see what you did, and I'm hoping not to use the cigarette lighter outlet.

For the offer. I'm interested in what other people have done themselves, too. I heard about this kit, but am not willing to do for that much. I have enough experience with installing my own kits to be able to set-up my own for less than $50. I'm more just curious what other people have done.

 

I just added a switch to my dashboard that allows me to control my illuminated footwell LEDs. It has 3 modes:

• On with dome light (open or unlock door)
• Always off
• On with accessory power (for driving)

Ive done some 5050 smd light strips in blue only that come on with the doors. Also same with the door sills. The oem accent lighting operates with the headlights.

 

Get a couple of cheap LED strips and connect to the pink and blue wires on this one plug. That is the domelight circuit.
