Has anyone installed the Honda OEM Interior Illumination Kit in their 3rd generation Honda Fit? If so, what are your thoughts? Any pics?

 

I have the dealer mounted accessory 08E10-T5A-600A white foot well lighting in my GK5 Jazz. It provides for the driver's and front passenger foot wells with low intensity ambient light and higher intensity lighting when the doors are open. The light color is bluish cool white maybe 5000 K or 6000 K.

I like it, it is mostly what I wanted. I would like it to be more like neutral white (4000 K) and it is missing the rear seat foot area. Latter may be something I will add myself later on.

 

My car has the dealer optional blue under dash LED light kit also. Plus matching blue LEDs under the front seats.

 

Would you mind sharing information where that lighted collar around the gear selector can be purchased?

I am considering buying another white foot well lighting kit,connecting it parallel with the front footwell lights and extend the wires to reach under the seats.

I added 5050 light strips and the interior lights. They are dim but add the ambiance. The illumination goes on with the headlights, and the 5050 and door sills go on with the doors. even do the fade effect when everything closes.
