How do I get Illuminated Power window and PL switches? Lighted Power mirrow switch would be nice too.

The Civic has this. VW Golf has it too.

if u wer 2 switch out the switches with another car (aka civic) that fits? i highly doubt it'll b worth the time b/c its a lotta work. the way it illuminates is that the switch is molded in clear plastic then when it is painted gray, the area where the letters are visible is masked off then it is painted. the only one that is like this is hte drivers side power window switch. the other 3 window switches are not clear plastic (ive taken it apart before) so yeah. u COULD put some led's underneath the switgh so it illuminates around it like through the cracks. that would be cool but also difficult.

 

So replacing the individual switches with the Civic switch should work? I don't mind doing the work but want to know if its possible.

if the switch panel is almost identical and the connector plug on the bottom is the same as the Fit then it "should" work. From estore.honda.com the driver switch unit for an 07 Civic 4dr EX is $77.91, just an FYI if you hadn't found one yet.

I was thinking of doing this using a couple of 5mm LEDs and some clear tubing. Similar to the key ring mod but a bit bigger and just wrap it around the switch assembly. I think that would offer enough glow around the switches. Wire it up to the headlights and you should be good to go!
