Blitz carbon seats

I am looking at the Blitz carbon seats. They weigh under 13 pounds, I was just curious if anyone knew how much lighter these are than the stock seats? And also does anyone know of any products to fool the air bag sensors into thinking everything is still normal? or any ideas on making such a device, maybe some sort of a wiring "bridge" or something?? Seems like it shouldn't be too hard but I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction before I try.- Thanks.

+1 on that! As much as I would LOVE to stuff a couple of Brides or Recaro's...Or even a new steering wheel, I just can't justify the safety hazzard's.

I know that a resistor of some sort will work so the air bag light won't come on. But, I don't know what size resistor it has to be. I guess I will do some reserch on the subject. I know a guy that comes into my subaru dealer has a sparco seat(drivers side) in his rex. He did the whole resistor thing and it worked like a charm. But, he also works with computers/electronics for a living. If I can I will get some more info from him cause I plan on swaping out at least the drivers seat in my car. Just need that support that the stock seats don't offer.
