I was playing around with the base of the steering wheel playing around with the idea of where i'm gonna mount a ScanGauge II. So I decided I'm gonna mount it on top of the steering wheel and I was trying to figure out how to remove the top half of the base so that I could screw down the ScanGuage II to it.

I started pulling on it and it snapped off expectedly, but now i have the right rear corner of the base loosened and I cant push it to snap back together. Anyone know of a place where I could look up the interior/body service manual? It would come in useful as pretty soon I'm gonna start installing my aftermarket audio.

 

pull down your steering wheel to get more room. the back piece goes under your gauge cluster, that might be your problem???
