I am 6'2" and from the dash to the back of the back seat in refresh mode measures a whopping 64 inches(5'4")
even with my knees bent I am piratically touching the shifter.
I figure if i want to refresh i should put it in long mode, lol.

 

But.....ummmmm...I am dead confused with what you are saying.

I dont come anywhere near the dash...and I mean "no where near"

You said shifter? Are you like straddling the seats with your butt stuck in the middle? Are you laying on your side with knees bent are you splayed like a frog?

For me its like one of the most comfortable positions I have ever been in with regards to relaxing and sleeping in the Fit. I am not saying your uncomfortable...I'm just confused (duh) or impressed (kinda don't know which one)

 

Are you putting your head on the rear seat bottom/back?...one would probably reasonably loose like 2' worth of room right there...

Dude refresh mode is made to be used like a lawn chair not a bed :P

You should take a picture of you using it as a bed and getting close to that shifter

 

I tried, but photobucket was like, "you can't have pictures of yourself naked.. blah blah blah." AND i was like, "PSHHHHH" haha jk

 

refresh mode came in handy during the san diego fires. i was laying down side ways comfortably and im 5"11. yeah i would agree that it just sucks that you are so tall.

i use this feature in the drive ins...so im totally happy with the refresh mode.

 

DRIVE INS !!! Tell me please where they are! I have always wanted to go to one, but I have never seen an "active" one. San Diego?...
