Question Refresh mode seats

I checked a fit out today at the dealer, and the seat would not fold flat. If front seat went all the forward to dash I can see how it would. Salesman said he tried the Refresh mode on other Fits and they wouldn't lay flat either.
What's up?

Did you take the headrests off the rear seats? Im sure that was the problem.

I thought I had the same problem after I bought my Fit. Even with the headrests removed I still could not get the seats to lay flat. I posed the same question that you have. What I found out was that you have to make sure that the top of the rear seat back is totally back. It moves an inch or two back from it's normal position. That solved my problem. It works fine now.

yup pull on the lever next to the rear headrests, and instead of folding the rear seatbacks forward, push it back a little bit. it reclines and shifts the seat bottom in the process.

Look in the back of the book for the index (pages telling you what page to look at in the book for information about a certain subject, these are present in many books), next look for the word seats (words are arranged alphabetically). After you find that word seats look for the page number to the right of the word seats, turn to that page. You can use this procedure to find information about other features of your Fit also.
