anyone having problems putting

your front seats into bed mode? just wonering because i cant do it by my self and its really annoying not being able to do it my self.

any tricks or anyone else able to do this by them self? not that i really need my car to go into bedmode by my self but the other day during lunch at work i wanted nothing more then to go lay down and i gave up after about 15mins of trying to figure out how i could do this my self.

and if you have a FIT and didnt know your front seats go into bed mode im not talking about just flippin the back seats down because thats not what im talking about.

thanks!

piece of cake, just need to multitask

Rear seatbacks to the second reclining position.
Front seat slide fully forward.
Rear seat bottom you'll need lifted about 4 inches.
Front seatback, recline until level with the raised rear seat bottom.
Use one hand to push both cushions down when using the other to operate the front seat recliner lever. They fit together really tightly, so both have to go down at the same time.

Presto! Take a nap.

09s won't do it.

Some countries' GD Fits/Jazzes don't get the "bed mode" due to shorter stock seat rails and different rear seat strikers. I think the rear seat strikers you get in the US are a little longer to accommodate the reclining action for the back-rest.

FYI

Actually called Refresh mode... which is appropriate, since I don't think I could actually sleep in that mode. I'm 172cm (5'8") and could neither stretch out nor curl comfortably the last time I tried it in my '08 Fit.

I could probably hack it in cargo mode, if I lay diagonally.

Ditto. I find that just reclining the seat works better than putting it in refresh mode. I can stretch my legs out without contorting my back into new and interesting shapes.

What?! I thought it was called "Dirty Mode!" That would be "refreshing," though, huh?

<Chuckle>

When I first read the title of this post, I was expecting a thread about golfing (putting = golf).

LOL

I wondered the same thing! The Masters at Augusta has been on TV this past week, and I thought maybe Tiger Woods was having a little bit of trouble on the green.
