removal of plastic covers for seat bolts??

I want to take the seats out, but the plastic things that cover the bolts that mount the seat the floor are on there pretty good. What's the trick to get them off without breaking them. I don't want to force them the wrong way.
Looks like the left front is different than the other 3 that hold the seat in, but I didn't get any of them to budge a bit. Probably not enough force, but I need to know how the clips work to avoid destruction.

thanks.

I was just curious one day while vacuming down there and took them off by pulling the sides outwards and up and forward. And no I am not an acrobat! It was really hard but they came off alot easier than they went back on. That part was a pig, it took even more force!!! King Kong kung foo!

not something I am ever looking forward to doing again.

Oh btw if it even feels just a little/tiny bit loose after you put it back on, then its actually not all the way on. I am hate rattles so I had to make sure. On my 7th gen civic I just left them off as they were a pain and I was always swaping out my seats.

That's what I needed. Will try this weekend, and I think the advice to leave them off will probably be what I do. First removal is exploratory, then I'll figure out what to do with seats once I get some measurements. Also want to see what it takes to put heating elements inside. I picked some up at SEMA a couple years ago and have one left. Heat is not a high priority until next fall, but I at least want a plan if I keep the stock seats that long.
