Talking Skunk 2 & T1R Short shifter

I would just like to ask to see if anyone knows.

Is it possible to combine the Skunk2 and T1R short shifter kit, and create an even shorter shifting?

If no one knows then I will probably have to try it myself

i've read that, theoretically, they can be used together; however, it would be wreak havoc on the synchros.

i can't remember who said it but i'm pretty sure i read it in the "t1r short shifter" thread.

yeah, why are people SO interested in the shorted possible shift? i'd like a "firmer" shift, but im not interested in a fast and furious shift :P

i was planning on doing this but decided against it. just installed my skunk2 ss on friday and love it. i think it would be too much of a pain in the ass and not worth the effort on installing the t1r also when the possibility of damaging syncros is possible. the skunk22 did the trick just fine, and im sure any one of the ss will give you what youre looking for. glad i didnt go the extra mile and install the t1r too, haha... the one short shifter shortened it plenty for me and feels a lot firmer when shifting gears. i posted a thread on combing the 2 in the fit modication section, theres some info on it in there.
here is the thread: https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/fit-...er-t1r-ss.html

my personal opinion: not worth the effort.

Damaging synchros would be highly unlikely. I've been considering the combination myself and would love to hear from someone who has tried this. Anyone?

We were going to give this a shot with the Mugen SS and the Skunk2 at one point. I still have the Skunk2 SS sitting around at home, I will install it one of these days!
