Honda Fit Dash Kit! Which One is better?

What is better?

1) The Scosche Kit Ha1558bx -

2) The Metra Kit 99-7872 -

What one do you guys think is better to get? I want to put a single din radio in my 07 fit.

check the for sale section. someone is selling a single din panel. as far as which is better, neither is perfect. one doesn't match the color, other has fitment issues

I had both of them. At first I liked the Metra. I ended up with the Scosche but had to use some Metra clips as the Scosche ones sucked. If you have a single din radio, the Metra might look better. For a double din NAV type radio, use the Scosche.

Check out the top right of this switch. There is a gap/flaw in the filler piece:

Now your really asking for TOO MUCH! Here it is with the Metra kit ONLY.

The Scosche kit came out right after I had done the single din so at the time, it wasn't an option. I was waiting on my Panasonic Strada to hit the market last year and temporarily settled on a single din for a few weeks.

Click on the pictures to blow them up. I'm not sure why imageshack if giving me trouble.

As I sort of stated above, the single din radio definitely looks better with the Metra, the double din radio looks better with the Scosche. To each their own.

I know i will loose the aux in jack if i go with an aftermarket radio. I can i use that again and not loose it? Is there a way? Or i just have to lose it?
Thanks,

There are a lot of after-market single DIN head units with AUX jacks (Ipod inputs).

One of my favorite not so expensive head units is the Panasonic RX-400.
It has an aux in the front as well as a usb for your ipod. I just got one for the wifey's car.
