I know a few of us have either this Pioneer unit or a similar. I have a question regarding the USB feature and file types. I loaded up a 4GB flash drive with a bunch of CDs I ripped as WMA files. I also added in some MP3 files, some of which will not play. They show up in the file list, but when I select them, the unit skips them. I verified they are 'really there' by listening to them on my computer. It won't be the end of the world if I can't listen to them, but they are some pretty cool instrumental tracks. Any thoughts on what the issue could be?

 

maybe a prob ripping them id try making another the unit plays all. make no sense but maybe it wont play both on the same disc maybe it has to be separate

 

Mine plays MP3 and WMA files just fine, but they are in different folders. I don't know if that would make any difference but you might try it.

 

Maybe DRM locked. I had an issue trying to burn an MP3 cd with DRM files.. it would just skip them. I had this issue with both the stock unit and pioneer HU
