can swap my stock OEM Stereo HU for the Sport OEM stereo HU. .

i want orginal factory look with being able to play mp3's using cd's

or should i shell out the cash for an ipod+ the adaptor.

 

You can, provided you have the radio code for the sport head unit. Sound quality will still be poop though since the base and Sport use identical IC's (meaning no difference in power or sound output) The rating difference is probaly a loop hole tactic, rating the base at 12V and sport at 14.4V.

 

with my basslink installed i think the system sounds pretty good for stock. so i dont really care about upgrading the sound quality i just want the function.
