Need Someone to tune my radio setup

Hello FitFreaks,
I need someone to tune my radio setup. I have:

1) cdx-gt920u - http://www.xplodsony.com/img/product...CDX-GT920U.jpg Sony CDX-GT920U CD receiver at Crutchfield.com

2) mtx audio sub 10 inch xt110p - http://akamaipix.crutchfield.com/pro...6XT110P-fp.jpp MTX X ThunderLink XT110P 100-watt 10" powered subwoofer at Crutchfield.com

I live in the princeton area and am willing to pay what ever it takes to have it tuned.

Thanks,
Yasir Faheem

are you using an amp for the inside speakers or are they just being powered by the radio? if the radio is powering the speakers, set the EQ level to flat, put the volume up half way and adjust the gain on the sub amp accordingly so that the bass doesn't overpower the vocals. If anything set the highs on the EQ to +2 to get a crisper sound from the inside. if there is an amp powering the inside speaker... put the gains on the amp all the way down and put the radio volume at 50% and EQ flat and increase the gains until you feel it sounds good for you. Also most amps have a crossover, for the subs place it in LP (low pass) and the HP(high pass) for the inside speakers and adjust those crossover levels achieve the desired sound.

i recommend testing volume closer to 75% of the max volume, there shouldnt be any clipping then. but no bass boost, and dont use the bass knob, and set it to flat. just adjust the gain to suit ur tastes. good luck!

75% on volume as mentioned by feared. HP and LP crossovers you can do at either 80 or 100 just to rough it in. Leave the EQ flat on the highs, you want to still be able to use cotton swabs for your ears.
