Has anyone bought the center console off ebay? i couldnt tell if the color was bad in the pictures and they said that you have to drill some holes so if anyone has installed one yet please let me know thanks

 

Which center console? If its the armrest console like this JDM one and they are saying you need to drill, they are either smoking crack or selling a knock off because there is no drilling and you re-use the same screws that are used in the OEM console.

 

The OP is probably talking about one of the cheap add-on arm rests from Singapore.

 

I've one and color is pretty close.
Quality is good for the price.
To hold it on you drill a few holes into the oem console then screw it down.

I agree with the reason for your previous post. With all of the Chinese knock-off parts on eBay, somebody will probably come up with a JDM console copy, in which they neglect to put in holes for the clips and screws. If somebody offers a "JMD ArmRest Console" Buy It Now price $189. plus $60.00 shipping from Taiwan", you'll know from the spelling and price that it is not genuine JDM.

 

I have the cheap one off ebay.. from china. It's actually pretty good. easy to install, faux leather padding ontop. Good storage space and works well as an armrest.

It was probably the best $60 I've spent on any other part of my car.. the console is close to black, maybe a really dark grey. But I have the sport model Fit so it actually doesn't look too bad. If I had the LX or DX model then it would be a bit of a contrast in color. But still, for the money you can't really complain.

 

That is the same arm rest that Zeta Products sells, and I have enjoyed the one that I bought from Zeta. This car needs a center arm rest, and the extra storabe space of this one is nice. I have a real JDM console coming soon from a group buy, and will offer someone a deal on the add-on Zeta arm rest when I get the replacement console installed.
